Using the tools
Polr Labs provides free browser-based utilities for common digital tasks. You may use the tools for personal or commercial purposes, subject to these terms and applicable law. No account or subscription is required for the tools currently available.
Your information and generated files
You are responsible for information, images, links, credentials, and other material you enter or select. Only use material that you own or are authorised to use. You are also responsible for reviewing, testing, storing, and distributing generated QR codes and image files.
Polr Labs does not claim ownership of information you enter or files produced from it. Generating a file does not give you rights to third-party names, trademarks, images, personal information, or other protected material included in that file.
Acceptable use
You must not use Polr Labs to:
- break the law or encourage unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful activity;
- infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- create or distribute malware, phishing material, or misleading destinations;
- expose credentials or personal information without appropriate authority; or
- interfere with, overload, probe, or attempt to bypass the site's security.
Tool limitations
Generated QR codes should be scanned and tested before publication. Their continued usefulness can depend on destination links, network credentials, scanner compatibility, print quality, and display conditions. Background-removal results are automated estimates and may need manual correction, especially around fine hair, glass, shadows, reflections, or transparent objects.
Browser support, device resources, network access, storage settings, and source-file quality can affect whether a tool works and how long it takes.
Third-party services and references
The site may rely on third-party software, infrastructure, model files, or technical standards and may link to external documentation. Third-party services and websites are governed by their own terms and policies. A link does not mean Polr Labs controls or endorses all content on the linked site.
Availability and changes
We may update, suspend, replace, or discontinue a tool or site feature. We aim to keep the site useful and available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent file compatibility, or that every error will be corrected.
No warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the site and tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or availability. Nothing in these terms excludes a guarantee or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Polr Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or economic loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the site or generated files. This includes lost data, lost profits, failed scans, disclosure of information embedded in a QR code, or reliance on an automated image result.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the site or applicable requirements change. Changes take effect when the revised terms are published on this page. Continued use after an update means the new terms apply to later use.
